‘Grongy’ is a family-friendly community, make sure you bring the kids to the amazing Grong Grong Earth Park. With it’s natural playscapes, picnic tables, and food gardens, this is a MUST stop for those traveling with children. Help yourself to the free fresh produce, take the kids to the mud pie station, the village pump or through the cubby – it was built for you!!

You may even want to check out their “Sharing Shed” and swap a book or two – it’s free?

The aim of the Grong Grong Earth Park is to re-occupy disused land along the rail corridor with gardens, playscapes, picnic grounds, a natural amphitheatre, community pizza oven, and interpretive and interactive displays about the district, its history and its produce.
The design of the broader area has been a collaborative process with small teams of families each working on a particular zone, and bringing their final designs to the committee.
