COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

COVID-19 is now impacting all of Australia and restrictions are in place. The government is urging the cancellation or postponement of non-essential travel.

On 30th March 2020, the NSW Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020 under the Public Health Act 2010 was updated so that a person must not, without reasonable excuse, leave the person’s place of residence, and states that taking a holiday in a regional area is not a reasonable excuse. The legislation is available to view here.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Narrandera Shire once this crisis is over, and we remind everyone that you should not visit regional areas during this time. Visit our Instagram for inspiration for your next holiday here, or follow our Facebook page for updates.
