Volunteer at the Narrandera Visitor Information Centre

Our volunteers are a valuable part of the team at the Narrandera Visitor Information Centre. Their local knowledge and enthusiasm for Narrandera Shire provide authentic local connections for visitor to the region and we couldn’t run the Centre without them. Our volunteers also strengthen the relationship between the Visitor Centre, local tourism operators and the broader Narrandera Shire community.

As a volunteer you will respond to visitor enquiries face to face and over the telephone, providing detailed information about Narrandera and the region, directions, tour and accommodation enquiries, as well as administration and sales tasks.

The minimum time commitment is two shifts per month, 9.00am to 1.00pm or 1.00pm to 5.00pm.

We’ll provide training to all volunteers to develop product knowledge and customer service skills to enable them to respond to visitor enquiries.

See the Volunteer Information on the Narrandera Shire Council website for more details.
